- ★ ★ ☆ ☆ ☆January 6, 2015 For the second day this week, and a dozen plus times in the past few months, my rural mailbox has been left open. Despite phone calls, speaking with Bill at the office in Ashville, the issue continues. Bill has offered several reasons for this, including the carrier moves too fast, my box is not level, and the magnets holding the door closed are too weak, among them. This past weekend, I added 2 more magnets to the mailbox, hopefully eliminating that as an excuse. Every day the carrier arrives, the door is closed. If I can close the door, why can't the carrier?By Sue Moore, April 06, 2017
